How AWE is integrating Esri GIS with Infor EAM

AWE manufactures and maintains the warheads for the UK’s nuclear deterrent. AWE’s work covers the entire life cycle of nuclear warheads; from initial concept, assessment and design, through to component manufacture and assembly, in-service support, and finally decommissioning and disposal.

This work takes place in a complex industrial environment and AWE uses both ESRI's ArcGIS and Infor EAM systems to control and manage the configuration and use of over 500,000 assets, from waste bins to complex process equipment.

Until recently these two systems existed independently of each other, but in order to streamline operations and to bring the power of spatial data to Infor EAM, AWE has recently made the decision to integrate the 2 systems using the interface between the two products that has been developed by ESRI and Infor.

AWE presents in this recorded webinar why they decided to integrate these two systems and what broad steps they are going to take to reach their integration goal.
