Delivery Approach
Our project delivery approach is fundamentally about delivering the right solution at the right time. We believe that any project must be aligned to clearly defined strategic goals and focus upon early delivery of real benefits to the business.
This belief is underpinned by eight key principles: Focus on the business need; Deliver on time; Collaborate; Never compromise on Quality; Develop iteratively; Build incrementally from a firm foundation; Communicate continuously and clearly and Demonstrate control.
Project Management
To support our delivery approach and underpin a project implementation that is optimised for geospatial projects we have developed a comprehensive methodology that is based on the Scaled Agile Framework (SaFE).
This methodology has been designed and developed to align with PRINCE2, a process-based method for effective project management. Our geospatial project managers have over 60 man years of PRINCE2 project management experience.
Monitoring Performance
We have considerable experience providing professional services to clients in varying sectors and to satisfy varying needs. Our approach is to match the level of rigor around our project management and performance monitoring in line with our customer’s requirements.
Performance is measure/tracked across various factors of the project as agreed deliverables, tolerance & exceptions, project schedule, milestones, risks & assumptions, issues & dependencies, budget and quality.
Stakeholder Management
Having the right people involved at the right time will be fundamental to the overall success of any project. The collaborative and inclusive nature of our delivery approach will mean that we will have a high level of stakeholder involvement and buy-in from the initial consultation.
Our approach is always to create a win-win for stakeholders to further enhance their support for the objectives of the engagement. This approach to managing these stakeholders means that collaboration and commitment will increase as the delivery progresses and consultees see their feedback being incorporated into the overall solution.
Quality Management
We operate a Quality Management System (QMS) that is an ISO 9001:2015 Certified process for governing our project deliveries. Our QMS is the culmination of best practice from across many industry sectors (in both Ireland and the UK) and from many years of experience of delivering Esri-based solutions. It provides a tried and tested set of processes, structures, rules and controls for successfully delivering geospatial projects.
Change Management
For many enterprise level geospatial projects, delivering a successful outcome is not just about implementing the right technical solution, it is also about supporting and empowering individuals as they embrace, adopt and utilise any new solution. Change management is the process, tools and techniques to manage this people side of change in order to achieve the required business outcome.
At Esri Ireland we us the Prosci ADKAR model for managing change. ADKAR is an acronym that represents the five tangible and concrete outcomes that people need to achieve for lasting change; awareness; desire; knowledge; ability and reinforcement.
