Recording and sharing Galway’s graveyard heritage
In this community-focused project, Galway County Council has created a fully digitised, end-to-end process for capturing information about graveyard memorials and making it accessible online. Built using multiple integrated solutions from Esri’s ArcGIS system, the process is ten times faster than previous approaches and delivers more accurate, consistent data, which will help to preserve Galway’s graveyard heritage for future generations.
