A Great Place to Work

The Great Place to Work ethos is firmly embedded in our culture, hearts and minds: it’s a barometer for how we’re doing and a framework for how we continue to invest in our people and our business.

About Great Place to Work

The Trust Index© Employee Experience Survey measures the extent to which organisations are considered to be a great workplace. By gathering qualitative and quantitative data on our employee’s perception of their work experience, the survey provides essential information that enables a richer understanding of our workplace environment.

Our Journey

Our journey with Great Place to Work Ireland began in 2017.  The Great Place to Work ethos is now firmly embedded in our culture, hearts and minds: it’s a barometer for how we’re doing and a framework for how we continue to invest in our people and our business

This ‘listening’ approach helps us build trust, embrace belonging and do right by each other, which in turn helps us ensure that we live our values, not just profess them.

What Defines Us

We want employees, customers, and stakeholders to not only be heard but to feel heard. We hold such a strong belief in this approach that we have designed the driving force behind our business plan, strategy, and vision, not around any specific numbers, but around the inspiration for everyone involved in Esri Ireland’s business to step up and Make it Count.

Our Make it Count strategy is about inspiring belief in employees, customers, shareholders, and stakeholders, that together we are the difference we make.

Our Make it Count strategy is designed around the development, measurement, and continuous evolution of six growth statements; Build Trust, Do Right By Each Other, Learn & Grow, Embrace Belonging, Live Green & Give Back, and Make a Difference.

Word from the Top

It's been 7 years since our Great Place to Work journey started, seeing us grow from a team of 37 people in 2016 to over 80 employees today, and counting.

Trust binds, drives and guides us, reinforcing our vision & mission and enabling us to live our values, not just profess them. I've no doubt, that the #GPTW framework has had a significant impact on our company growth; how employees feel and the loyalty they show through their passion and commitment every single day. Our whole team is immensely proud of this achievement.

Embracing Belonging

We believe in the  importance  of a sense of belonging - the freedom  to be our genuine and authentic self while feeling supported and accepted by our colleagues.  All employees should feel like they belong.  Together we embrace belonging.

We believe that diversity and inclusion, what we refer to as BIDE (Belonging, Inclusion, Diversity and Equity), has a strong correlation to commitment and motivation in the workplace, directly translating to employee attraction, retention, pride, and engagement.  At Esri Ireland we pride ourselves on being a diverse, high trust organisation and our current team of over 80 people are represented by 20 different countries; Ireland, Northern Ireland, UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Nigeria, Uganda, India, Kazakhstan, USA, Canada, Poland, Malaysia, Turkey, Brazil, France, Spain, Denmark and Romania.
