Gordon has the skills to ask the right questions and generate a lively conversation between the panellists, having previously spent more than two decades working as a business and technology journalist.

Greg Mullen, Director of Planning and Design

Greg Mullen will bring the telecommunications industry’s perspective to the panel discussion, drawing on his two decades of experience, not only in telecommunications, but also in power, electronics and computing. Working as Director of Planning and Design at the telecoms network service provider Circet, he leads 150+ professionals working across multiple projects and is as comfortable troubleshooting with engineers as presenting strategy in the boardroom.

Helen Gilmartin, Associate Director

Helen Gilmartin is a geospatial industry leader with over 18 years of experience driving collaboration, innovation and talent development across the global ecosystem. As Associate Director of the World Geospatial Industry Council (WGIC), a not-for-profit trade association of commercial geospatial companies, she works closely with industry and academia to advance the role of geospatial technology in addressing real-world challenges.

John Walsh, R&D Manager

Our energy industry spokesperson is John Walsh, Emerging Technology and R&D Manager at ESB, who has expertise spanning retail electricity supply, energy services, electric mobility, sustainability, health, safety, wellbeing and innovation. During his career, he has held various operational, engineering, commercial and management positions in the energy sector and has developed a particular passion for leveraging technology in social enterprises.

Murphy Geospatial

Paraic Quirke, Director and Head of Infrastructure

Our final panellist, Paraic Quirke, is Director and Head of Infrastructure at the geospatial services and consulting business Murphy Geospatial, where he leads the development and delivery of data-driven solutions for major infrastructure and environmental projects. A Chartered Civil Engineer with particular expertise in railway infrastructure, he will draw on his long experience and present a strong case for innovation and interoperability in infrastructure management.
