Description:
Google Maps and Google Earth have become popular Web 2.0 media for publishing spatial data in the Internet. Many public organizations are now interested in publishing their spatial data to the Google Map in order to reach out to both Citizens and Customers. In this session we will be exploring the various ways in ArcGIS users can harness the power of Google Maps to publish spatial information on the Web.   Topics covered will include; The background as to how ESRI technology dovetails with that of Google ; Why you might want to take advantage of what Google Maps has to offer ; The various methods available to you to get your organisations spatial data onto the Google Map.
