How do I prepare the information to be published to ActiView for ArcGIS Server?
ArcGIS uses a simple “Author, Publish & Use” workflow. Maps and Geo-processing Tasks are authored using ArcGIS Desktop in a WYSIWYG environment. You can create data by editing or import, symbolize that data using a comprehensive set of symbolisation options, label the data and determine at what scales it will be visible. Once you are happy with your map the project document or .MXD can then simply be published to an ArcGIS Server instance using the ArcGIS Desktop Publishing Toolbar. Once the map or task is published it can be used by any ArcGIS Server client system.
