The Wheel is Ireland’s support and representative umbrella network for community, voluntary and charitable organisations. They help these organisations get things done, represent their shared interests to Government and other decision-makers and promote a better understanding by the public of the great work they do. Esri Ireland collaborated with The Wheel to provide an innovative and location-enabled facility that integrates geographic information with social media providing a much richer online experience. Esri Ireland's work with this umbrella charity is on-going.
Conern are an international humanitarian organisation dedicated to tackling poverty and suffering in the world’s poorest countries. They work in partnership with the very poorest people in these countries, directly enabling them to improve their lives, as well as using our knowledge and experience to influence decisions made at a local, national and international level that can significantly reduce extreme poverty. It is one of Esri Ireland's nominated charities for donations and support.
DEBRA Ireland is the national charity initially established in 1988 by parents, to provide patient support services to those families living with EB in Ireland.
Staff Charity Support
Esri Ireland also support our staff who take part in raising money for charity. Our staff are always keen to get involved and are entitled to two days per year to volunteer for charitable activities. Esri Ireland have also supported charities including Children’s Medical & Research Foundation, Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin, Irish Cancer Society, Action Cancer Northern Ireland, The Dunshaughlin Youths Football Club & Malahide Football Club under 12 Teams.
