Paul Synnott, Country Manager

Paul was promoted to the position of Country Manager in October 2010. In this role Paul will lead the strategy for revenue and profitability growth in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland markets.

He also has full operational responsibility for Esri Ireland’s Sales, Marketing and Customer Services operations in Ireland that contribute to a multi-million Euro annual sales target.

Paul previously held the position of Head of Sales at Esri Ireland for over eight years.


 

 

Andrew Rea, Head of Professional Services

Andrew is responsible for the Professional Services wing of Esri Ireland. This year Andrew’s team are building on the theme of ‘doing better with less’ concentrating on fine tuning our best practice when providing services to our clients.

We believe that in this way we can continue our Win-Win approach to providing value for money and at the same time maintain a sustainable professional services delivery. 

 
 


Joanne McLaughlin, Marketing Manager

Joanne McLaughlin is an experienced marketing communications practitioner with over 14 years experience and has been with Esri Ireland since 2006.

Communicating the innovative use and application of Geographic Information (GI) and the difference it brings by way of better decision making processes is core to the work of Esri Ireland - With this in mind Joanne’s primary goal is to drive the Strategic Marketing Communications and Public Relations activity for the business. She is a member of the Esri Ireland Management Team.

 


Michael Byrne, Account Executive

Michael is an Account Executive at Esri Ireland with responsibility for client relationship management, business development and customer engagement for nominated key accounts

Michael’s primary goal is to ensure that the success of each Esri Ireland customer is the success of Esri Ireland, by maximising return on investment and value from all customer engagements and is heavily involved in advising, communicating and setting the business strategy for customers and for Esri Ireland.

Eamonn Doyle, Chief Technology Officer

Eamonn's role is to keep our Customer’s, prospective Customers and the Industry in general aware of the benefits that GIS, and Esri GIS technology in particular, can bring to their operations. He has been with Esri Ireland since 2005 and over that time has come to know that GIS is more than just technology, it’s a way of thinking about how business, society and the environment operate geographically.

Eamonn's goal is to help those organisations apply Esri technology in such a way as to maximize return on investment.

Dermot O'Kane, Client Manager.

Dermot's role is Client Manger within Esri Ireland and has responsibility to work with prospective and existing customers in understanding how GIS and specifically Esri technology can provide business benefits and better decision making processes.

Dermot currently engages with organisations from many backgrounds’ including Local Authorities, Central Government as well as many private sector organisations and has been with Esri Ireland since 2003.

 
 

 

Michelle Carey, Office Manager

Michelle is Office Manager responsible for the day to day running of the Business including Accounts, Payroll, Order Processing and Software Maintenance Contracts and has been with Esri Ireland since 2002.

Michelle's primary goal is to continue to successfully manage the day-to-day accounting for the Business whilst liaising with Esri UK to ensure a fluid process for customers and make it easy for them to engage with with Esri Ireland.

Marie Hogan, Engagement Manager

Marie is an Engagement Manager with Esri Ireland joining the company is 2004 and works closely with a number of Esri Ireland clients including OSI, Department of Education and Skills, DoEHLG and Bus Eireann.

With over 9 years experience in the field of GIS, Marie has in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the ArcGIS technology stack, including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, Mobile GIS and the development of web mapping applications. She is also a trainer for several Esri Ireland courses, including Introduction to ArcGIS, Working with ArcGIS Network Analyst and Working with Model Builder.


 


Ben Scott, Engagement Manager

Ben commenced work for the New South Wales National Parks and Wildlife Service as an ecologist, but was quickly attracted to the possibilities that GIS raised in the analysis of geographic data. 

He moved to Esri Ireland in 2010 and his role as Engagement Manager allows him to allows him to continue to combine GIS, project management and consultation skills, a combination Ben enjoys, and also draws on his experience in government and land/water management roles.
